Wedding Flower Color Palettes I Want to See in 2025

With the arrival of a new year, it’s always inspiring to look ahead at wedding trends—and as a florist, one of my favorite things to dream about is color palettes. Pantone has just announced their 2025 Color of the Year: Mocha Mousse!

While I’m excited to see how couples incorporate this tone into their celebrations, I have to admit…brown isn't my favorite for wedding flowers. Instead, I’m rooting for vibrant, dynamic, and playful color combinations that feel fresh and joyful.

Let’s dive into some palettes I’d love to see more of in 2025 weddings! (and before you even bring it up, I know peach was Pantone's color for 2024, but I'll never be over it)

1. Peach, Coral, and Chartreuse

This trio is all about energy and cheerfulness! Peach and coral bring a soft warmth, while chartreuse adds an unexpected pop of brightness. Together, these colors feel modern yet approachable. Imagine lush garden roses, ranunculus, and bright green flowers + foliage in whimsical, foam-free arrangements like bridal bouquets or deconstructed arches. It’s a palette that’s perfect for Spring or Summer celebrations.

2. Red, Pink, and Peach

There’s something undeniably romantic about this palette. The red adds a bold, passionate touch, while pink and peach soften the look for a timeless yet fun vibe. These colors work beautifully in everything from centerpieces to ground arrangements, and they’re versatile enough to suit a formal ballroom or a casual outdoor wedding.

3. Peach, Mauve, and Purples

For couples who want a palette that feels moody yet vibrant, this combination strikes the perfect balance. Peach offers a delicate foundation, mauve adds depth, and magenta or purples bring in a dramatic, playful energy.

4. Purple and Red

Purple and red might seem like an unusual pairing, but when done right, it’s absolutely breathtaking and one of my favorite combinations. The richness of these tones feels regal and bold, perfect for couples looking to make a statement. This palette shines in dramatic arrangements, especially with flowers like anemones, hellebore, and clematis.

5. Cheery Yellows

Yellow is the ultimate color of happiness, and it deserves more love in weddings (and I don’t mean sunflowers)! Bright marigolds, soft buttery yellows, and even golden hues can bring a sunny, optimistic vibe to your special day. These tones pair beautifully with whites or pastels for a fresh and clean look or with corals and deeper pinks for something bold and lively.

Why Color Matters

Color has the power to set the tone for a wedding day, and flowers are one of the best ways to bring a palette to life. Whether you’re drawn to soft and romantic hues or bold and vibrant combinations, choosing the right colors can transform your celebration into something truly unforgettable.

As we step into 2025, I’m thrilled to see how couples and fellow creatives push the boundaries of traditional wedding palettes. If you’re planning your wedding and want to explore how these vibrant color combinations can transform your big day, let’s bring your vision to life!
